Project Manager

Our client is a boutique commercial and industrial builder, established in Brisbane, flying under the radar, yet offering a distinguished track record of 20 years’ servicing private clients and select design and construct channels.

Having maintained steady growth for the past half a decade, the search has begun to appoint an additional Project Manager; a new position in the company.

Under design and construct format, you will commence on a single $16M industrial development (or alternatively two smaller projects) depending on your level of experience. 

Internally, you will be supported by a strong commercial, estimating and administration team, though it is expected that you will have strong systems, documentation, monthly reporting and administrative capabilities yourself. As an experienced Project Manager, it is expected that you will be actively involved in establishing and assessing scopes, lettings and subsequent management of contracts. 

You will perform front-line client management duties, coordinate key stakeholders including tenants and client representatives as well as managing the on-going interface with external design and services consultants. 

Adherence to program and the ability to establish ‘short-term / critical-path’ programming should works fall behind is a must. As such, MS Project or Primavera skills would be highly desirable.
